Enrique Chiu is painting the longest mural in the world on the border wall separating Mexico and the United States. Chiu's mural, "El Mural de la Hermandad" or "The Brotherhood Mural" is a miles long collaborative work that has become an inspiration to Tijuana’s immigrant community and a poetic response to U.S. immigration policy and political theater. Chiu received formal permission from the Mexican government to paint on the Mexican side of the wall and off-the-record consent from U.S. border agents. This Side Has Dreams Too premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2019.
